About
About this tool
Links Counter reads every anchor on a page and sorts it into internal links (to the same site), external links (to other domains) and other links such as mailto:, tel: and JavaScript. It also flags rel attributes: nofollow, sponsored for paid links and ugc for user-generated content, and lists the external domains you link to most. It works on any public page, including a competitor's.
Internal links help both visitors and search engines find your important pages and understand how they relate. External links to reputable sources can support your content, while paid or affiliate links should carry rel="sponsored" to follow Google's guidelines.
Filter the list by type, search by anchor text or URL, and export everything to CSV for a content or link audit. Look for vague anchors like 'click here', important pages with few internal links, and paid links missing a rel attribute.
